Federation Priorities for 2020-21 are as follows:-
- To achieve academic targets for the year
- Following the global pandemic and lock down:-
- To develop a recovery curriculum to fill gaps in learning
- To look for opportunities to diminish the difference in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and all other pupils and between SEND pupils and all other pupils
- To offer catch up sessions for groups of identified pupils
- To review interventions and their impact
- To improve speech language and communication particularly in the early years in light of research and training
- To embed Penpals to improve handwriting across the school
- To support children’s wellbeing and healthy lifestyle
- To review our curriculum offer and in particular:-
- Relook at Intent, Implementation and Impact
- Ensure that the curriculum is planned and sequenced so that new knowledge and skills build on what has been taught before
- Look for opportunities to embed our ‘Making Memories’ People Powers
- To continue to develop the Mastery curriculum in Maths and English and in particular to develop mastery maths in the EYFS
- Work with stakeholders to develop a new curriculum for Relationships Education
- To review the RE curriculum to link with SACRE but in addition to reflect the culture and knowledge of the cohort of the school
