School Priorities

Federation Priorities for 2020-21 are as follows:-

  • To achieve academic targets for the year
  • Following the global pandemic and lock down:-
  • To develop a recovery curriculum to fill gaps in learning
  • To look for opportunities to diminish the difference in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and all other pupils and between SEND pupils and all other pupils
  • To offer catch up sessions for groups of identified pupils
  • To review interventions and their impact
  • To improve speech language and communication particularly in the early years in light of research and training
  • To embed Penpals to improve handwriting across the school
  • To support children’s wellbeing and healthy lifestyle

 

  • To review our curriculum offer and in particular:-
  • Relook at Intent, Implementation and Impact 
  • Ensure that the curriculum is planned and sequenced so that new knowledge and skills build on what has been taught before
  • Look for opportunities to embed our ‘Making Memories’ People Powers
  • To continue to develop the Mastery curriculum in Maths and English and in particular to develop mastery maths in the EYFS
  • Work with stakeholders to develop a new curriculum for Relationships Education
  • To review the RE curriculum to link with SACRE but in addition to reflect the culture and knowledge of the cohort of the school
