Welcome to our school website. We are a high achieving, busy and friendly federation of two schools, with lots to offer. This website aims to give you a taster of both schools, as well as providing up to date information for parents, children and the wider community.

Thomas Wall Nursery and Robin Hood Infants' School federated in September 2007. We share a site and in joining together, we have created a very large early years unit, including an assessment unit for nursery-aged children with complex communication difficulties.

There are 394 children on roll, housed in twelve classrooms. We have many awards and accreditations including the Primary Quality Mark, Healthy Schools and Sports Quality Mark. Our end of Key Stage 1 attainment is high and we work hard to maintain this. Both schools have been judged as good and outstanding in OFSTED inspections.

We take safeguarding very seriously at the school and ensure all our children understand they have the right to feel safe and looked after. Our recent review by Sutton Borough Safeguarding Team shared what the children had said to them:

The children said:
• ‘There is always someone to talk to if you need to’.
• ‘We feel like we belong here, and everyone looks after everyone else’.
• ‘We have worry monsters in each class and we can write our worry and post it’.
• ‘We are taught about how to stay safe online in our Computing lessons. We know that we should not share our address or school uniform online’.
• ‘In our PSHE lessons we are taught about anti-bullying and friendships’.
• ‘Our school vision is ‘Be Safe, Be Ready, Be Kind’.
• ‘We have a kindness charter because we should always think about how we treat others’.
• ‘We have a sensory room that people with special needs can use or if children need some time out’.
• ‘We have class promises like I promise to be honest’, ‘I promise to try my best’, ‘I promise to be kind’ and ‘I promise to listen carefully’.
• ‘We have red hearts all around the school that help to keep us safe. If an adult needs help, then we take the red heart to the office’.
• ‘We have a School Council where we can share ideas’.
• ‘At playtimes we feel safe because there are lots of adults with us’.
• ‘We learn about mindfulness and having a growth mindset’.
