School Priorities

Federation Priorities for 2016-17:

  • To continue to embed new assessment systems in the school (to include the use of target tracker)
  • To develop the teaching and application of spelling across the school
  • To improve handwriting across the school
  • To look for opportunities to narrow the gap in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and all other pupils and SEND pupils and all other pupils and narrow the gap between boys and girls
  • To embed Maths research to ensure:
    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We are teaching conservation of number in the early years
    • We increase the number of children achieving greater depth in KS1
  • To improve children’s communication skills
